If it is real, which it does look to be at first glance, then it is 2015, not 2010. It has a green COSC tag, which were only issued from July this year, to denote the new five-year warranty. G serial could just mean it sat at the AD for a few years.

I think the confusion is the random starting with g.

I thought about that too, but I think there's only three digits obscured, not four. So seven in total.

I agree, The green COSC tag should clearly insure that its a 2015. not up to 2010 as the seller mention. also unworn with no stickers, setting a (NEW ROLEX) at $1 auction with no reserve. all these combined together makes me uncomfortable with this transaction, And request a cancel.

Thanks Adam for the info.

G serial doesn't necessarily date the watch to 2010. Could easily be a couple of years later.

Thanks guys for the encouraging. this watch wasn't meant to be mine for some reason. I have requested a cancellation and seller agreed. I assume seller would sell it for that price so anyone interested just contact him. Frankly i don't find it a Killer deal there is a lot offered for sale in the same price range, otherwise i wouldn't pass it, unless the price is cut in half
