Options for bracelet repair?

I have used Michael Young in the past and have been very happy with the results. I was wondering if anyone does similar repairs in the states?

I searched high and low, couldn't find anyone. In fact, the people I spoke with were very quick to politely refuse to work on it.

I sent it to MY in early November, hoping to get it back any day now.

Come on guy's, Michael is the best at what he does. Trying to find someone in the U.S. For what, save on shipping? Get it done quicker? Will you be happy with the end result? Just don't make sense. It's like driving 10 mile out of the way to save 5 cents on a gallon of gas! We all use michael for a reason, he is the best!

I agree. If we know where to go for excellent service, why look somewhere else?

Agreed! If there was someone in the States who did this kind of repair, you'd still be paying for shipping. You'd probably save a couple of bucks because it's not international, but so what. Send MY your bracelet, strap on a NATO, and be patient. It's worth it!

Couldn't there be customs issues importing any Rolex-branded product into the States? MY obviously has a great reputation but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask if there's a domestic option (there isn't).

Several hundred USD ($) to start with. Otherwise, the new one will wear out a few years later. I'll stick with an MY-rebuilt for my vintage watch!
