Is this GMT-Master II real? New here...

Hello, new guy with a quick question about a dubious watch I found at a pawn shop. These are the pictures the seller sent me.... (I've owned two airkings but never anything else so not familiar with these). TIA

ps, I think its fake b/c of the engraving on the back....

Can you post better pics? Get rid of the blurry-ness?

Its hard to see the engraving on the back, or any other details about the watch in question

EDIT: other than it has the bezel of a sub... Its a fake and not a very good one

It's pretty hard to tell from the blurry pics, but the ingraving on the back would lead me to believe it's fake

Also that red seconds hand is wrong. Thats the first time I've seen a pepsi sub bezel.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I'm no expert, and there will probably be others with more qualified answers, but if it's meant to be a GMT, then it shouldn't have some sort of Pepsi Sub bezel I reckon? The numbers should relate to 24 hours.

Is that the second hand or the GMT hand??

I think it was ment to be a fake GMT, but the bezel is incorrect, like I said, bad fake

It's pretty blurry.
You're correct, there shouldn't be engraving on the caseback for the GMT models. Also, the hour markers don't seem correct; can't tell if its a font issue? Lastly, I presume the red hand is the 24hr. hand? If so, there should be a white triangle marker at the end. Instead, it looks to be the sweeping second hand (which should be a white hand).

I'm not so sure Jocke, because that hand belongs to an A-Hole!

I guess the red hand shows both seconds and the 5th time zone.
