Icon10 First Rolex and a new member!

How we doin everyone?
Just wanna say I'm new to the forum and very glad to be here

Well I've been a member for awhile actually but I only browsed since I recently received my first Rolex from my old man for my 18th birthday. A 2001 GMT-II Pepsi. Absolutly delighted with it I have to say, amazing watch. I originally planned on getting a Sub but decided since I'm younger I wanted something a bit louder, bit of a sportier look and I think the Pepsi does that job perfectly

Hopefully the first of many anyway so I better start saving cause I've really caught the bug. Anyway like I said, glad to be here and thanks for all the info when I was struggling to decided which model to go for.

Great choice Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your time here. You do know it's mandatory to post pictures of your watch here, right?

Welcome, the GMT is a great model from which to start, and it can create the spark to look for other models.

I'm a big vintage GMT fan, so when you have got a modern model/s the vintage Rolex are another world again.

Haha I know its mandatory to post pics on here. I'll definitely do it soon, once my digital camera is fixed. My phones doesn't have the best camera so I'm stuck right now. Thanks for all the welcomes though

Congrats, that is a special Dad to do that for you. Wear it in good health and don't forget to tell you Dad every now and then how much you appreciate the watch and him!
