Hi everybody!
Hello
Let me first say thanks to everybody for making an exellent forum!  Well, I can start by introducing myself. My name is Daniel, I live in Norway (yes, next to Sweden) and i`m 21 years old. I work as a watchmaker, and have been working with the Rolex brand for almost 5 years now. So if you have any technical questions, please page me. Greetings Daniel...I am also a new member. So this is my first post and question to you since you are 'into' watches...
I purchased a SS Dated Submariner Oct. 2006, but don't wear it much because it does not keep good time. It runs fast...5 seconds or so each day...two days would be almost 10 seconds fast etc, etc. Is that normal? I know that it should be within 3-4 minutes per month...are they really off by that much? The watchparts,lubrication,the main spring, temperature, what the position the watch is in etc... Hope this was a good enought answer. But go to your local AD and ask them to take a look at it. They can see how it goes on a computer, and then test on a simulator. I leave the ball in your hands ;) |
