Removing an aquanaut rubber strap
Its been my experience that removing an aquanaut rubber bracelet is difficult because in addition to the standard spring bar, there are two anchors perpendicular to the spring bars that fit directly into the case of the watch.
Has anyone tried to remove one with a Bergeron 6825 tool? I did a search and saw that some of you used them with success on rolexes, but i think the 5167 lug width is 21 rather than 20. Since they are pliers I was thinking it might work more easily, and by that I mean help me avoid scratching the back of the lugs... I really love the rubber strap, but would like to try a leather strap from time to time without tearing up my watch |

IMO the Bergeon tools are only good for Oyster bracelets and even then they can cause some serious damage, especially the pliers
I'd only let an AD remove the strap on my 5167, resizing is not an issue. my 5711 i am happy to resize myself as it comes with screw pins
