I saw a tv show on electric cars and the problem with the electric cars is the electric motors are so powerful that the torque they produce rips up most drivetrains. They are fast.

Electric motors are capable of generating tremendous torque. They lack in other areas compared to internal combustion engines.

I bought a Prius (half electric, half gas) for work a few months ago and between the technology and the mpg I like the Prius better than my Cadillac!
