Yet another Wife Rolex ....

Ann has not been a big watch fan. Has moved from mild irritation due to web surfing and expenditure to sort of giving up to having showed interest in a Rolex a few weeks ago. I was compelled to get in touch with David SW again. She was at least as happy as I have been upon opening a new watch box. The results are as follows:

I got my wife a nice lady date just with pink diamond dial a few years ago. I think it was enough to get her interested in watches. She's recently been lusting over the Tudor Clair de Rose, and I don't blame her. It looks pretty sweet

Once I bought the wife a Yachtmaster, and started cruising ADs with her, she can now spot Subs and Daytonas 100 yards away.

I have seen several posts (I am guilty of this as well) of people buying their wives new watches seemingly within the last week or two. You got a beautiful one - I was considering that one from DavidSW as well. Congrats, I am sure your wife will enjoy it!

Now all you need is a domed bezel and you will be all set...

Very nice. A watch that is appropriate for most office environments without appearing pretentious or "blingy", and yet dressy enough to wear at any high class social function.

Thanks for the nice comments. We do go out a fair amount to social and cultural functions so it will be good for her to have a watch to go with pearls and a diamond. Funny thing is that she said "I need a watch so I know what time it is and get the kids off the play ground". She teaches 4th grade. I am happy she is thrilled to wear a nice watch but comfortable enough to wear it all the time.

Turns out the 26 mm and oyster bracelet were a good match for her.

Great choice. My wife has almost the same version except with MoP face. She loves it.
