This 5396 Caught My Eye Last Night

While looking at different models last night, this one caught my eye. Not your typical model but I liked it on my wrist.

I can relate. Was not on my radar but tried on the 5396r recently and was in love.

I think the bracelet 5396 is one of the models targeted to be discontinued, right?

I was browsing an AD yesterday and the same reference on a strap caught my eye. I have been looking for a formal watch with a moon phase complication and previously posted pictures of the JLC Master Calendar, Lange 1 Moon Phase, and Breguet Classique in the Non-Rolex forum.

However I found the 5396G-011 in WG on a gloss black strap quite striking.

It's nice but prefer it on strap. That bracelet just doesn't work for me.

Yes, 5396/1G and 5396/1R are on the discontinued list.
