What would you do

1) Part exchange or sell Rolex 16710 GMT Master & Patek Philippe 5711A and £3,500 for this FP Journe.
http://www.chrono24.com/en/fpjourne/...arch/index.htm

2) Part exchange or sell Rolex 16710 GMT Master plus £10,000 cash for this FP Journe.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2719119790...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

3) None of the above

I'm going with none.

I wouldn't give up a 5711 in the first option.

In the second option, I'm not a fan of FPJ sport watches.

I would exchange the GMT and cash for the first one though.

Agree with this. I regret selling my 5711. How about the Journe Chronometre Bleu? Two blue dial watches but different enough. Hunt down a new one.

I'd only like the FPJ chronometre blue or noir, not that sport model and I would definitely not sell a 5711 if I had one.

I have to vote none of the above. Wouldn't want to trade the 5711 and not my favorite journes. Then again, I haven't tried either on in real life. Maybe I would like the octa sport hard to say...

I am not a big fan of the FPJ sport model, I like their dress pieces though, but they're just not for me, the movements are gorgeous

Thank you for the replies.

The poll & comments are going as I suspected.

I have conducted this poll on another forum and another member on that forum also suggested the Chronometre Bleu

So, the research starts :)

Same thoughts here. The 5711 is a keeper!

I would go for a resonance or a centigraphe sport instead.

3) do nothing. The GMT and 5711 are amazing watches and you'll regret selling them. Get a fpj CB if you want its about 16k£ new

Option 2 could be a choice, but I think if you want a FPJ I would save for it and keep the 2 classics you have.

Option three has it :)

Instead I will look at possibly option two but replace the Sport for either my all time FP Journe favourite Chronometre Souverain or a Chronometre Bleu

I love the Journe style - especially the CS in PT 38mm. What I don't like about the Journes is the minimum $2500 service cost, even for a time-only watch. Sold mine.
