Why no AP logo on the Diver's dial?

I was wondering why is it that the Diver seems to be the only RO or ROO (not counting the skeletonized dials) that does not have an AP on the dial?

The strange thing is that the original Wempe Scuba, and then the 3 other ScubaS (blue, orange and red) all had an AP on the dial.

Anyone knows?

Lack of space? Or maybe to just keep the dial as uncluttered as possible on a diver watch. Readability is important when diving I supposed.

I dont know either, but I don't think it takes away from the beauty and appeal of the AP diver. I also have the 15400 and several Rolexes and the diver is my new favorite…

I rather like it without the AP logo, as it gives the dial a cleaner more purposeful look.
