Icon4 help... 16750 GMT

Hello, I may be able to trade one of my current watches for this... what do you think of this GMT.
What's original, what's not.... They believe the dial and hands were replaced under service in about 1990. Bezel insert looks newer.

Does the case look good or bad? I don't know if the pictures make it look worse, or was this ridden hard and put away wet?

I'm new to vintage so please help. What is the value in these.... I know if it was a non WG surround dial and original insert we would be talking 5 figures.

Thanks,

Joe

The watch looks fine. When taking pictures from a couple of inches away, scratches look much worse than in real life.

You do not provide a lot of information on the watch to determine what's original/or nor, year of production, etc.

Other than the top left lug, looks like a fine example.

Thank you. It is listed as a 1987.
The left lug. Is that just the deep dings that bothers you. Is it a thick enough case it could be polished a little.
I just don't want an over polished and beat up case.

Left Lug upper- second picture down from your post. The spring bar looks close to the edge is why I mentioned it. Not a biggie - not every watch has to be perfect.

If it is a 1987, the dial looks appropriate - white gold surrounds and a swiss t<25 dial.

The watch is fine..

The pictures are from Radcliffe Jewelers. They are a reputable outfit having two B&M locations in suburban Baltimore. I have been to their store and have dealt personally with Erik Szper there. He is an upfront guy and I would not hesitate to deal with Erik again. He'll give you a good price on a previously worn watch.

Agree and I lnow Erik is a great guy. I just don't know what it's worth. His cost is based on what he has into it including a service I believe.
It gets a bit more muddy because I'm looking to do a trade for it. So just wondering what others may value it at.
