So Excited 216570 Polar
I am new to this site and I am happy to be here.
So, I just got a 216570 Polar as a early wedding gift from my Fiance. I am unsure how to get the GMT hand. This is my first GMT watch, so I do not want to screw anything up. Also does the 216570 have a quick date change setting like my Tudor Pelagos? Thanks, |

Great watch! Pull the crown all the way out (unscrew plus two clicks) and set the 24 hour hand (and minute hand) to where you want it. (Personally, I choose GMT time which is EDT+4 but it should be whatever second time zone is useful to you.) Then push the crown in one click and set the regular hour hand to your local time. The hour hand is a quick set hand and jumps in one hour increments. There is no quick set date feature so you will have to advance the regular hour hand (forward or backwards) as needed to set the date. Enjoy your new watch!

I set the 24 hour hand at local time with the triangle at 12:00.
Then when I have the hour hand set to local time, I move the arrow to display GMT (or whatever you choose). That way when you move east or west, you adjust the local time with the hour hand and GMT stays current. Should you need another time zone, you move the bezel to that one. That way, you can keep track of as many time zones as you wish, as long as you know the offset.
