Icon20 Panerai Straps...

Which one the BEST? I like Micah & Kaktus. I like vintage models like 'em. What do you think Guys? What your favorite strap model?

Best Regards, TR.

Kaktus Drifter

Rob Montana Vintage

And for the money, Hirsch makes some superb 24mm and 26mm straps, plus they do not have that Godawful super big wrist interferring buckle. Actually in many ways, the Hirsch straps though only partially handmade, have better quality than many of the hand made straps out there.

I'm PAMless at the moment. It is a RWC 1938a. It "was" a true homage of the original Cali Dial Rad. I say "was" b/c it was release years before the 249 was re-released by Panerai. Suddenly, it became a fake. Plus, it is a 45mm.

Some Paneristi like/love it, others HATE it and say it is a fake. I'm in the love category. Here is the face.

Different strap.

Try the www.paneristi.com site.
They have an accessory corner & a link listing various strapmakers too.

http://www.retrospectwatch.com/

They are no longer made. This watch is about 6 years old and they made 300 of them. They sold out quickly. Original MSRP was 800 or 900. You see them used from time to time on TZ for about the same price (usually with an extra strap or two).

They are currently doing another homage EGIZIANO with is another true homage to the GPF 2/56, made for the Egyptian navy. Here is a link to Paneristi.com to see the watch.

Thanks guys. I'm planning a trip to Italy in the near future. Hopefully I'll be picking up something for the Florence Panerai Boutique at that time. It will depend on what I find out about customs and the euro to dollar at that time.
