OK, now I'm really kind of nervous, any docs on here?

Woke up this morning and one of the "sores" had burst or something and it looks like is spreading something up my skin. Sorry for the gross picture but this has been going on over a week, Three docs gave me different diagnosis and treatments and it's getting worse, not better. I am typically a very health person; this is new and scary for me. I see the Doc (again) this afternoon, I hope this time is the last.

I'm not a doctor but that ain't good Paul. You may need to get persistent to get a diagnosis. I wouldn't leave the doctors office without some sort of treatment plan. I'd head to the ER If gets any worse. Feel better my friend.

DAMN!!!! I was going to make an Anna joke, but that looks bad. Are they sure that's shingles and not a spider bite or something? You need to get to a REAL doctor and not some quack in a box.

Thanks everyone, and I apologize for airing my dirty laundry here on the forum, I know a lot of you have serious medical conditions and never complain. This is just a bit scary as I am normally very healthy and a quick healer, I see the doc in a couple hours and expect a dermatologist consult right after that. Hopefully some meds or chanting or herbs or something will get it on the road to mend. Thanks again,

P.S. Jocke, Anna and I have discussed it... if I don't pull through, we want you to have my Rolex.

Start by pulling the plug on Anna, I'm not a doctor but that looks like a rubber infection.

Hi Paul! A friend of mine suffered something similar (look similar to me) and finally was a fungus very aggressive just under the skin. Please go to a specialist and find out the problem ASAP!
Good luck! Hope you will recover soon.

Hope it's sorted for you quickly Paul! Ouch. I have found these days you have to be persistent with doctors etc. They are all overworked...overbooked etc.

Paul, best wishes for an immediate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Good that you can share your concerns with us.
I guess the dog that bit you died a horrible death.

That most recent picture looks like a cellulitis and must be addressed ASAP.
IV antibiotics may be indicated now.
This is much different than your first posting.
PM me at any time for questions.
Yes, I am a physician
Best of luck!
