What have I got?

Hi, I have owned this 1675 for almost 10 years and all I know it is a 1675 from the mid 70's. I have been reading up on vintage 1675s and the number of variations truly boggles my mind. That is why I am reaching out here to the experts to find out exactly what I have and your opinion on the general condition of the watch. I had a watchmaker authenticated it and checked out the innards and there were no issues. As a matter of fact it is one of the most accurate mechanical watches I own, including 6 digits Rolexes. I am almost certain the hand set and dial are original because I bought it from the original owner who said he basically had it in his sock drawer for the last 30 years. He said he had it polished and serviced once and judging from looking at the watch whoever did it did a horrible polishing job. I am not looking to sell it but just wanted to know what I have.
Any information and opinion are most appreciated.

Start with closer, bigger pictures - hard to tell variations with those.

then have you looked through this site? it has all the variations for you.

We need better photos, but my gut feeling is that if it's from the mid-70s, we are mostly looking at service parts. If you'd like detailed info, please post large high-res photos, and also post the first few digits of the serial.

You have a GMT 1675 from the mid to later 1970s. The dial is referred to as a Mark V. The bezel insert appears to be an original insert.

The bracelet appears to have been replaced with an Oyster 93150. Although the 93150 was available during the later part of the 1970s, it was not a factory option for the GMT but possibly it was a dealer installed when it was sold as new.

Here is some info on the Mark V dials as well as the mark 5A and 5B variations.
