Explorer 114270, the search continues
I've not long finished a phone conversation with a person who was speaking on behalf of a watch dealer, The person in question seem to be quite helpful at first the became quite arrogant. (Customer Care.... Must try harder!)
I wanted to speak with the dealer as Id had no reply to my e-mail that related to some damage to one of the lugs on a 114270 Explorer. as soon as I mention the damage the attitude changed, "what do you expect they are second hand, they will come with damage!" taken aback by this I just asked that the dealer e-mailed so that we might discuss the matter further, the response was "oh well he's very busy at the moment!" So I left it at that, the watch in question is £3900, and Ive attached photos of the damage, nothing major but Id like it to be right other wise this would concern me in time to come. |

I would pass on this Exp. and look for one without damage and definitely from a different seller.

Return the watch an obtain a full refund, then purchase another Explorer there are plenty out there for sale, good luck, and please keep us updated on your progress.

not purchased

Please note Ive not bought said Explorer, this was one of many ? the dealer has, I feel it may be the poorest one that he has hence offering it up first, if this is his best then I wont be considering paying them a visit let alone purchasing any from them. which is a shame as I have a very nice 5513 that I bought from them a while back. the search continues. |

I'd skip the dealer altogether then. There are plenty out there that can be found with more reputable sources.

Sounds like you already decided to move on, that would be my advice as well. Especially since you now see how they truly treat customers...
