The CHNR. Day two. Overcast tones

I always find that the morning after you get a watch, is the real day that you judge it. When you put it on in the morning. I wore it out to dinner last night, short sleeve dress shirt. Tommy bahama shirt. Truthfully, I think I’d rather have worn a sub, skydweller ss, stainless AP. Something stainless. I felt like a dude on a cruise. Too much going on between the fish on my shirt and the marquee sign on my wrist. Despite the fact the rose gold is more subtle, the CHNR is far from subtle. lol

Conversely. This watch works great with a t-shirt and shorts, and would be great with a suit.

I think the key to this piece, is that when you’re wearing it, nothing else you’re wearing is going to win the attention fight, so let it win.

I’ll say this in closing. I really dislike 2 tone yellow gold. I really like the subtle flash of this one. Somebody at Rolex deserves a pat on the back.

Excellent take. This will easily be the most attention-grabbing watch I intend to own so this is a good data point going into it. The "fight" will be interesting, assuming it even fights. It might blend in without issue.

Any other TT watch has been way over-the-top for my taste but the CHNR has a fighting chance. I'm looking forward to it for sure.

Lovely watch; I don't get the concerns abut appropriateness. So many preconceived ideals people have.

Never would consider myself, in any way, a fan of the two tone watch, but Rolex did indeed nail this one. Looks good on you.

I love it.

And I actually don’t think it’s the best looking watch. Not bad looking. Of course not. Very attractive. Just not a typical piece. And I’d love to own it and wear it. I think it’s super classy. Like you say, it’s also a good for casual and dressy.

It’s a statement piece for sure. And I think it says, “I’m cool being me. I don’t really care what you think”

The more I look at it. The more I love it.

Rolex nailed it with this one. A refreshing new TT on the sports series.

Looks great! First two-tone sports-model I'd consider buying.

I'd prefer this one next to my BLNR then the BLRO Jubilee.

I've always said if any watch got me into TT, it'd be the bluesy. But the RG in this one could potentially do it. I fear for my bank account whenever one is shown to me...

Looks great on you. Congrats!

I have to admit that I'm liking this watch a lot more on people's wrists in natural light than in the pics I saw before it was released.

I'm still deeply verklempt over the lack of a true brown and cream root beer remake, but I think this new watch succeeds on its own merits.

Ditto. Don’t like it as much as BLNR but in pics I like it more than the SS BLRO.

That is such an interesting TT. Extremely subtle as compared to the YG version.

This is a beautiful watch.
