If anyone is interested, Selfridges and Bamford launch their watch today. When I sent an enquiry email (following the Hodinkee article, below) the automated email reply suggested the limited run of Selfridges' watches was just 20. Whether that is true, I know not.

In any event, as the response also said would be the case, I note that this morning they are now available on the website and (one assumes) at Selfridges.

In certain parts of the world, anything from Selfridges in a yellow and black bag has kudos so one suspects these may sell well.
