Instagram request....
I don't have any real profile on Instagram, I just joined today.
Anyway there is a guy with the handle "901ca" on Instagram who has a lot of travel vlogs on YouTube which I like to watch. The guy has travelled to my town and I just wanted to buy him a drink, but I think he must think I'm a scammer/weirdo. So if anyone has instagram and knows about how it works can you possibly tell this guy I'm not a scammer/weirdo. If not, no problem, it was just a thought.

Don’t worry. Instagram is a great place to connect. As above, follow and Direct Message. He will have the choice to respond or not. You can add your own replies to anything he posts. It’s perfectly acceptable behaviour nowadays! Btw, I do remember when this was akin to stalking!!

I don’t really do Instagram, but if some stranger contacted me wanting to meet up and buy me a drink just because I had visited and commented on his town, I would think “no way – must be a wierdo!”
