Hey guys! Just walked out of Tourneau with my new Rolex Oyster. I am loving this watch and it works well with my Omega. My goal is that by the time I graduate high school I have an Omega, Rolex, and Breitling. Also, I'm not some snobby rich kid that has their parents buy everything for them by the way... I have got this money from investing and saving. Just didn't want to show the wrong image. I will try to post some pictures if I figure out how on the phone and if I can't I will have to wait until we get from the vacation to use my computer. Thanks guys and have a good day!

Congrats! A very nice piece that I'm sure looks great on you.

Open TRF through the tapatalk app to easily upload photos. But there might be someone younger and smarter with a better idea.

Congratulations on your first Rolex! I was 60 years old, before I got my first Rolex. It would be interesting to find out which Oyster you got. You mean Oyster Perpetual without the date? Comes in 3 sizes: 34, 36 and 39mm for men. And which dial? Just asking in case you can't get pics until you get home.

I'm 70 years old this year, and I still get incredibly excited when I get a new watch!

Congrats young man! I bought my first when I was 15. It was a 1680 sub. Back then, nobody knew what s sub was where I lived. Wear it proudly!

...and buying on credit (I saw your other post). That said if you can't throw caution to the wind when you are young, then when can you. Enjoy it.

The only bit of advise I would give, which you can of course ignore, is to make sure you are buying the watches you really want rather than just trying to tick boxes. I only say this because an Oyster Perpetual is not generally the first choice Rolex of a young man, but it is the most affordable which may have influenced your decision. Of course I don't know your tastes, or that of high schoolers so I could be wrong.

Yeah, I did decide to buy on credit mainly because it is 0%. I just didn't want people to think that though. I have a few thousand ready (I want to save the rest just in case)
so I can make payments for a few years and by then I will have an actual job other than investing. I really do love the OP and I definently wasn't going to buy one if I didn't like it. Thanks for replying.

I agree with Lee above. Don't settle until you have your education in the bag but keep saving and investing while doing that. The earlier you start in life the better!
