Rolex + Panerai - Best 2 Watch Collection!

In my humble opinion, the best 2 watch collection is Rolex and Panerai. For me, it’s the Datejust 2 or Datejust 41 and the Panerai 111 with the clear case back. Panerai for every day casual wear and the fluted DJ for more dressed up occasions.

What are your thoughts?

Nice couple...

Perhaps the OP would be a bit dressier as it has no date and is less
flashy, but you've covered most bases here..

I hear you, but the date window is quintessential Rolex to me. I also considered the Submariner, but "everyone" I know has a Sub...

I think it's a great pair of watches. I'd gladly wear either one of them.

Nice duo.

Looks like you fully polished the DJ’s bracelet?

Great duo.

Can’t ever go wrong with a PAM.

Very nice.

For me, it's a Submariner and a Datejust 41 is ther perfect 2 watch combination.

My one Panerai definitely gets more wrist time than my three Rolexes; I love it!

I’ve had three Panerai in my past, first one circa ‘98 or so. OP, your post has me checking their website. I miss them, especially getting a bunch of straps for it!

I generally like the ubiquitous Rolex+Omega combo for 2 watches, and generally a diver/GADA combo. So DJ + Seamaster or Aqua Terra + Submariner. Or Speedy + Submariner maybe. I always love it when people have these 2 watch combos.

I can also be fairly brand agnostic, but always gravitate towards the GADA/Diver combo. I saw someone posted a Blancpain FF + Vacheron Overseas duo the other day, that was really nice.

these days i consider panerai as a fashion watch. though i get the most complements with it.

my sport watch combo would be rolex and omega. omega is not too blingy but presentable and tough

Not sure of something, what’s the brand of the watch? I think it might be Panerai but the caliber doesn’t make that very clear…

Great combo. My combo is also is a Panerai and sea dweller of some type, although the Panerai in carbotech gets about 95% of the wear.

Great pick, & nice 111. You have the earlier sausage dial w decorated movement too. That’s all I own if you look in my sig below. Soon to be added a new Ed white 321 if I receive the call soon, will see.
