Incoming - Blue Datejust 41 fluted and jubilee

For those that might have noticed my other posts, I had a black dial datejust 41 fluted jubilee, as of this morning. I walked in to sell my datejust and to be on the priority waitlist for a blue dial. The owner came in and laid down a brand new blue dial right on the desk! I guess a person last week was on the list, they just got one in, and he passed. So I got it! I was in denial about the blue - thought it was not dressy enough, but I was so wrong. It literally looks black most of the time and blue only at the right moments. Perfect! I now have this and my 114060. On a waiting list for the ceramic daytona white dial. Great unexpected morning!

I'm curious from a financial standpoint, how much money it'd cost for an exchange like this? But I agree blue > black dial. I prefer rhodium or silver personally.

Congrats! This is my favorite combo for a DJ, though I am a bigger fan of the DJ36 over the 41. Still a stunner!

Sold for 8000, so had to put in $2033. After a years of use didn’t think twice for the watch I want!

Congrats on picking up that watch you wanted! Not too bad of a deal turning in your "rental" black dial. Enjoy wearing it when you give your Sub a rest!
