How long do you have to wear watch during day for full lume at night?

Yesterday I wore my MAD1 red most of the day while driving (windows down sunny day) and in evening I wore it out to a restaurant that was dimly lit and the lume wasnt showing at all

It's not the length (of time) but how you use it (to energize the lume). Alas, the M.A.D.1. has lume that is not the brightest nor the longest lasting. So far the brightest and longest-lasting lume goes to the Panerai 1118 TRON imho.

So the secret must be to keep the MAD1 lume light in pocket and lume it up in dimly lit restaurants under the table

Just ordered the Ming Mosaic hopefully that lumes nicely
