Celestial Navigation

The post regarding reasonable accuracy made me curious as to how many of you, if any in this age of GPS, are aspriring Magellans, who delve in sidereal time and star charts along with a sextant and of course a mechanical chonometer to navigate your sailboats at sea or your ducks in the bathtub? i once knew a guy who did and he swore by his Rolex sub. just wondering.

While not on the water my profession is in aviation and we use GMT as the universal standard. Even though I arrive at work with a Rolex chronometer I use the electronic clocks that are synced to NORAD or where ever the official time signal for the CONUS originates.
