What should I get next?
Hi All,
Just need some suggestions thrown out there. I'm looking to round out my 3 watch collection. I already have a BLNR on jubilee and TT Bluesy. I may at some point get an oyster bracelet for the BLNR. So I'm looking for another final watch. I do know that I don't want a Daytona, Air King, Explorer I, II or even a Milgaus. So that leaves either a DJ41 or SkyD...Unless I'm missing one. Any recommendations? |

For SS, I would go for Blue Sky D.
For PM, I would go for D-D. |

I’m only answering because you called it a BLNR and not the other name so I’ll say SkyD

Nice collection
Do you have use for a dress watch? If so, I would look at something on leather (either Cellini if you are set on Rolex, or Patek, ALS, etc if you want diversity).

Complete the air-land-sea trio.
And complete it in steel, TT and full gold. So I say go for an all gold Daytona. Whichever you like. |

I'd Skydweller for something different than the other 2. The Yachtmaster is another choice if you already like the BLRN and TT Sub and wanted a similar feel. I've got a YM and DJ41 the DJ feels dressier so tend to wear it less.

Does it need to be another Rolex? Without knowing the budget, I would look at royal oaks, speedmasters, Laureatos, overseas, Lange’s, full PM Rolex or Speedy, etc.. so many good ones

If you have the wrist for it, then get the white dial Skydweller. That piece is absolutely gorgeous.

I think a a Rolex collection needs a classic collection piece. Either an OP, DJ, or DD depending on your budget.

If SS and your wrist can handle it, SkyD. If not, then an OP (if no date needed), a DJ or a YM40.
If a PM. Get a DD40! |

I just picked up a blue sky dweller and absolutely love it. Picking one up would be my recommendation.

I would say Datejust 41 or Day Date for a nice elegant sort of change to it all.
I have long been more of a sports and progressional watch guy, but after trying the DJ41 I had to rethink my stance about it. I wouldn’t discount it as a nice change and final watch to round it all out. If you are set on professional watches, I would say Milgauss. It’s a very nice cool and unique change, a Rolex with a very different original vibe to help mix it up.

DJ41. I've owned two previously and will be getting a silver fluted jubilee one tomorrow. It's such a well proportioned and comfortable do everything watch.

You may want to consider the SS Yachtmaster either slate or blue dial. It’s a beauty, uncommon & maybe a nice addition to your collection

So you have a blue dial watch and a black dial watch...
If I were you, I'd go with a white or silver dial datejust 41 with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. |

Worst thing you can do is to buy a watch to "round out" a collection.
Forget about adding a watch. Let the watch come to you and fall in love with it naturally. Asking us just means fifty guys shouting "this one," lol. |
