Does your PO smell?
So, I have 3 nice watches that I rotate periodically. My wrist does not smell after wearing the Rolex or the Tag. They are looser, but they dont dangle by the bottom of my wrist - rather they are usually above the wrist bone.
Now, I noticed serendipitously, that my wrist would smell like sweat after wearing the PO. I noticed that I have the PO sized a bit tighter - because it is heavier than the Sub and I like it to stay above the wrist bone... And the back of the PO's case has a margin around it - probably making a vacuum-like seal to the wrist.... probably making sweat accumulate after a few hours of wear. So, as gross as it may sound - is it just me or do you guys also notice a smell after wearing the PO? If not, then maybe I just have to loosen up the PO and it wont stick to one spot and create that weird smell. Sorry if it's gross, but this has been bugging me for months.

That is an odd issue. Don't know what to tell you? Febreeze? Cologne? Wash the PO regularly.

With having a baby now, nothing much grosses me out!
I would try loosening up the PO, maybe they can just loosen it in the clasp, or add a half link?

You know what? I've had the same problem with the bracelet on my Date. It fits pretty snugly, too. I'm just a sweaty broad, I guess, but it's a heck of a yucky problem to have. Maybe it's just your body's particular chemistry that reacts with the band. What worked for me: Nightly scrub with baby soap and a toothbrush. Um, the watch band, too.

Not the band area.... just under the case!!
And no adding an "O" to the title! LOL!!!! I think it's too tight, I'm gonna have it loosened. I bet it's the vacuum-like seal! Thanks for the laughs guys!

I have worn both styles of Omega (2220.80.00 and 2200.50.00) and never had this happen. Thing is though my watches are not tight, maybe you can add in a 1/2 size link to stop that problem

Re
The source of any smell is usually bacteria.
Sounds as though you have created the perfect incubator. Just beware because with the kind of conditions under the wrist you describe you may well may beget bacteria verging on the size of wombats! Cheers desmond Quote:

No mo PO BO!
It's all good after the resizing. The underside of the PO is a good incubator for bacterias/sweat, it's got raised sides on the caseback making for a good suction cup. Yuck.... But.... no mo po bo!
