If purchasing from grey dealer why would availability being rare matter?

It’s a wise choice OP! I think you were considering a blue dial at one point? I don’t think the premium of the blue is worth over the 3 colours so glad to hear you are looking at the grey now. Good luck!

First thing first, wow!! you certainly love your daytona's :-D and have great taste!

Given that you're going to gray market, may I suggest blue or green of 15510 unless you plan to buy more AP. If you see grey vs. blue or green (more like black unless you see it in the sunlight) blue is soo much better in my eyes. I say this because I have very similar to your collections (own one panda) but do own blue (15202) dial and green 15510. when I saw grey 15510 in person vs. blue was much better in my opinion.

I was leaning grey dial until I tried on the white/silver 15510 recently. Amazing in the daylight, changed my request to it instead.

I have the 37mm 15550 RO. The grey dial is very nice. I thought it would be kinda monotone since the grey dial would match the color of SS. In person, the grey dial is more silvery grey with a shine to it. Looks much better in person than photos. Here is a poor quality photo.

Only problem I have with the grey is that the hands sometime blend in with the dial, making it hard to tell the time.

I'd argue that the grey dial is a more "adventurous" choice than conforming to the steel/blue dial AP cliché.

How much should we be expecting to pay for a new 37mm grey dial RO in a grey market

Is it known that among the colors for the 37mm RO's, that production numbers vary? Is the dark blue the rarest or just more desirable (or both)?

I also tried on the grey dial at the AD this weekend, and each time I see it, I like it more. Its monochrome theme is very sleek. If I was allocated that one, I wouldn't hesitate.

Amazing collection!! However the “love tap” between the two ROs hurt me a little bit…

My aging eyes struggle to read the grey dial. Not an issue with the blue dial…
