Which GMT is getting discontinued?? 2024 polling station

Only if this forum had a betting station, I would put $1000 on BLRO and the VTNR.

No option for ALL of them???? On a long enough timeline they'll all be discontinued.

I voted VTNR thinking they will not keep left side.

I hope no additions!
I'm of the opinion the new color combinations are responsible for the decrease in BLRO deliveries
If anything, I see the VTNR going away.

Which GMT is getting discontinued?? 2024 polling station

VTNR, if any, at all, as it has become nothing but a novelty item. It was meant for lefties, who prefer to wear their watch on their right wrist. Oddly, everybody wants one….

From a macroeconomic level, it makes sense to do very little. The watch market in general is down hugely.... not rocking the boat with new releases and instead doubling down on marketing would be my executive strategy. I'm predicting nothing will change with the GMT line this year. Maybe some precious metal creativity, but nothing dramatic to the steel line.

There are already too many GMT options IMO! It also seems to be the model with the least continuity. They seem to add or tweak a reference every single year... They don't do that with any other sports model. People have also been calling for a case change and slimmer lugs for years, but as long as they keep bleeding out references (like GRNR last year), I don't think that happens anytime soon.

Contrary to my statement, my vote is no change to GMT lineup this year just because they have already done too much really ever since they reintroduced the BLRO in ceramic. I hope they just leave it alone for a bit and focus on other things...

The thing is, they aren't really options if you can't buy them, just hypothetical options. I agree though, after the BLRO, CHNR, re-introduction of the BLRO on Jubilee my AD said he couldn't see them touching the GMT for a long time as they had done it to death 2018-2020 but he was wrong, we then got the BLRO back on Oyster, BLRO on Oyster, the VTNR and the GRNR. This statement was from an AD store manager, somebody who is dealing with Rolex on a day to day basis and with many years experience so no matter how much basis you have for an argument either way you'll have difficulty predicting what the Rolex masters of marketing and product placement have in store for us!

None.

Allow me to clarify. While movements and references may change, color schemes will remain.

None. The current GMT case still has a few more years in it based on historic changes. They’ve been adding bezel colors rather than discontinuing them.
Expect a reshuffling of colorways when an all new design GMT is introduced, not this year but within 2 years my guess.
