MOP DD 36 mm.....

So my mom wants this watch. How "rare" is it.....Tried to explain to my parents quite often you can't just walk in and buy a watch. They live in Buffalo and it's a small AD. He said "he'll call them" and then tried to sell her on a 40 mm Black Onyx with the stripe which she didn't like......

So my question is how often does this watch come up for sale to new client off the street or is going grey their best bet....

If she doesn’t require BNIB, the 36mm MOP DDs are generally pretty inexpensive on the secondary market.

Yes there's a very nice 2021 on here but she wants BN....I tried to tell them it's unlikely going happen in the timeframe they think and to go with a used one....

Guessing this falls into the “there aren’t too many of them but little competition for the ones out there” category. Have you tried dealers in your area?

This may also be a situation where it’s worth asking if RSC would do a dial swap - it’s an upgrade, but an instantly-depreciating upgrade (vs some of the highly sought dials) so perhaps they’d be amenable.

I shot my AD a text and he'll keep in in mind. Like Buffalo it's a very small AD, Springfield, MA....they'll just have to wait or go grey....like most everyone else....
