Straight swap

Would you swap Omega Snoopy 50th Anniversary full set with an addition of a stainless steel bracelet (authentic Omega bracelet) for a Vacheron Overseas blue dial SS current version (brand new, full set)?

You give snoopy and you get the VC? I’m, yes, I’d do that. The snoopy is cool and I want one, but the VC is a whole different level.

Such different watches … a unique chronograph vs a date complication. I’m at a loss other than to say, follow your gut.

I prefer the Snoopy if that helps

As much as I love the snoopy (Apollo 11 50th). There's no way I'd turn that down. The VC is in a different league.

The good news is its a good deal if that's the road you want to go down. You are winning but personally I would prefer the snoopy.

The VC is one of the best watch brands out there, I’ll definitely go on with the trade.

I prefer the Snoopy personally. More personality. The trade makes sense but I would miss that Omega.

VC only became popular, among the masses, during Covid as a result of the crazy rise in prices and lack of availability of Patek, Rolex, etc.

If I'm not mistaken there is a cartoon dog riding a rocket on this watch's hind side. On the VC there is a 22K rotor with multiple types of hand finishing covering a Geneve seal finished movement.

Hype is not part of this. Attention due to looking for alternatives is fair enough but nobody is settling by choosing this product. I wouldn't trade mine for a RO (notwithstanding market values), only add.

Straight swap

Buy the VC and keep the Snoopy.

But if you don’t feel like Snoopy it is singing to you long term then yes, why not

I'm an Omega guy. I have no aspirations to own a VC, though I appreciate they have their following.

And I'd do that trade in a NY second...just make sure the VC is legit.

If it's too good to be true....
