Datejust 1601 Caseback
I have 3 scans of caseback in front of me.
Appreciate advice which is the correct one for serial no. "316,xxxx" Datejust 1601. I need to open up one for inspection before pay; but found these 3 differences on Net. Thanks! PS. pics borrowed |

Hi,
This is the case back on my DJ #276***** So I would say the second one is closest. The s/n that you gave looks later than the caseback in your pix.

Caseback
Hi,
First two are 16XX , non quickset casecacks with plexi. Third caseback is caseback 16014/16030 etc , quickset 3035 movement with plexi, and thus different to the other two. Check for proper markings and neat and fine lines of the symbols in the caseback. Fakes can be recognised incorrect or bad engraving. Jack |
