Breitling love
whats going on?there is a forum here for lovers of panerais and omegas(a brand which i adore!) but there seems to be very little love for breitlings.whats the problem folks?why no love from the rolex fraternity? i own a titanium chrono avenger and a chrono super ocean and hope in the next month to be able to be able to add to this modest collection.i think they are a nice contrasrt to my rollies.am i alone with my admiration for the brand?

You are not alone. Recently there was a poll here regarding what other brands people owned and Breitling was either third or a close fourth. I love my CSO.

I like this watch so much I think I'm going to buy it for a Xmas gift and give it to my brother (I feel guilty buying it for myself since I have a SS Daytona).

I really love the Breitling watches! The Emergency must be a unique watch in the industry as I have never read of any other watch that has its features.
The others are simply great in no uncertain terms and very highly esteemed in my book. Superb and I will be adding one to my collection in the future.

Super avenger !!!!
I just got my first Rolex, and I'm trying to get used to how small and light it is.
I love my Breitling super avenger and will be getting the black skyland next, as moby33 shows above. BTW - after wearing the super avenger, when I tired on the new deepsea, I still thought it was a mid-size watch in comparison... |

I have had a Breitling B-1, with a blue face, for over 3 years and I love it. I always receive positive comments. I do have an issue though. My wife thought she would be nice and replace the battery for me after 2 plus years of wear (at a local watch shop) and now the hands don't match the digital time. I have heard that goofing with the guts will void the warranty and Breitling won't touch it. Any suggestions?
(the pic is not my watch, but the same nontheless) |

So what...are you expecting to live forever? I like Rolex more (obviously), but I think B. have a number of models that not only look good today, but will look just as good 20 years from now. After that...I really don't care how a watch looks in comparison to the times...it's probably time for a new one anyways! Cheers.

Those are some beautiful Breitlings folks. Breitling is my second favorite brand after Rolex. Thanks for showing these.

I just bought a Chronomat Evolution. SS Blk face and blk leather strap. Guys at the office are going gaga. Brets stick out more in my opinion. Have Rolex too but this is a real tank lol. Very happy with my Bret. Will try and up pics soon.

My only real complaint with Breitling is their obsession with high gloss polish on 95% of their watches. There have been a number of models I would easily have purchased if they were brushed SS...but alas, I had to pass as they were just too bling for my tastes. I don't know why it is, but to me, the high polish stuff almost makes the watch look cheap IMO (which I realize is kind of odd since I think they polish the material in hopes of making it seem more upscale).
Then again, to each his/her own I guess...I do know I've read many responses on Breitling forums where the happy owners rave about the high polish cases/bracelets. Cheers. |

I wear my CSO on a strap 90% of the time because of the high shine of the bracelet. The only near negative I have for the Breitling. It is very accurate and I love looking at the detail on the dial.
