New member + thoughts on Datejust 126333
Hi all, first post here. I had a harrowing first Rolex purchasing experience and I debated whether or not to share because ultimately the seller did right by me. I decided to post (maintaining sellers anonymity) because folks here might find it entertaining/interesting!
I have always loved the vintage feel of older subs. After a lot of thought I purchased a late 80s TT 16613 from a well known online reseller. It arrived and was immediately my pride and joy! Five days later, the bezel insert popped off. I researched the issue and found opinions that it could be fixed, but I was worried I would be paranoid every time I stepped outside that the thing would roll into the gutter. So I returned the watch and seller refunded, no questions asked. Fast forward to today, I have replaced the sub with a TT datejust 41. I love the versatility (in my opinion it toes the line between sport/dress - and I don’t have to worry about matching metals). The quickset date and 72 hr reserve were also features that the sub didn’t have. I am very pleased with the DJ as my daily wear. Anyways, nice to meet you all! I have a couple older subs arriving tomorrow - my first Rolex “rotation” and I can’t sleep haha. |

Good choice. I have a sub 114060 and I'm considering the 126333. It will match my white gold and yellow gold jewelry. Please post some pics when you are able to.

I think we will see many more 126333 posts soon. I like silver/gold
goes with basically any color of clothing while colors like black and blue may clash with various items: |

Awesome photos, apparently I should have gone with the Jubilee bracelet! Still trying to figure out how to compress file size to post...

Tapatalk is probably your most pain free image posting option.
