First AP / 15550ST 50th Anniversary
Been intrigued w AP for a short while , I’m more of a Rolex & Vintage Heuer type.. started doing my research a few weeks ago and decided I really wanted a Royal Oak, especially the 50th anniversary 37mm (Grey Dial) which was only produced in 2022 w the “50” rotor .. I went to the AD tried a 23’ on and the 37mm fits me perfect as it wears like a 39-40 , definitely wears bigger than 37. AD said 6mos a year wait for a 23’ so I went to another and they said the same thing (prob BS and really only 8-12 week wait ) but again I was after a 50th so had to find a secondary market one..was able to find a barley worn one full set on Moda and finally made the deal yesterday, couldn’t be happier.
AP is just another level.. |

Congrats.
Looks fantastic. How’s it feel on wrist compared to the Daytona and 5 digit submariner ? ..Explorer & Spring Diver - I’m just here for the photos.. |

It feels just like the 1675 GMT or Daytona as the 37mm on the AP certainly wears bigger than its actual size- I tried on the 41mm and it looked like i had an alarm clock on my wrist lol

You have really small wrists so the watch looks great on you! Enjoy it.

they actually don't scratch easily, that's a major over exaggeration on this site. rolex's with PCLs scratch much easier. they're more delicate in the sense that the movement is more delicate but the bracelet is pretty durable and with the same kind of use a rolex will show more wear imo

the 15550 is one of the best for many, including myself. I gives me a bit of vintage vibe because of the size. 50yrs is the one to have! Congrats!
