My fellow TRF members! Does anybody know of any websites that sell a new bracelet for my Deepsea? thanks!

Rolex does not sell watches or watch parts on the Internet, nor do they usually sell them through their Dealers without an exchange....

The DSSD is also pretty new for there to be very many bracelets that have been taken off for parts...

I think that you are going to have a tough time finding an authentic bracelet for this watch............

Thanks for the quick reply Larry! Just asking because i thinking to have a "back-up" In case if i were to get any scratches on the bracelet, just put a new one on.

I plan to have my Deepsea for a long time, and we go everywhere together.

I can understand a back-up

...... However, the DSSD bracelet is likely between 2 and 3 thousand dollars with the clasp...... That's a lot to pay on top of the cost of the watch..

I don't think that you will have any issues with your bracelet for many years....

I wouldn't give up looking for a replacements SDDS bracelet.

One TRF'er managed to get a hold of an extra GMTIIc clasp that he installed on his Platinum Yachtmaster.

Go figure.

Luckily its a brushed bracelet so scratches wont be nearly as noticeable as the GMT IIC or something along those lines :)

How about just getting any major scratches brushed out? For the cost of a 'back-up' bracelet, you can have a professional do this service many, many, many, many, many (you get the point) times! Or better yet, wear the watch, scratch it up and don't worry about it...it's a dive watch that is built to take a lot more abuse than a few light scratches on the bracelet.

Enjoy your watch, later you can send it to Rolex for service and it will be back as new.

I've read on TRF that once RSC services a watch/bracelet, it comes back looking like new. My DSSD bracelet already has a couple of tiny hairlines scratches but it is just a watch after all.

Yeah, but there's one thing that Rolex can't fix and that's bracelet stretch.

I believe this is why the OP wants the back-up bracelet more than anything. Way above and beyond simple surface scratches.

Bracelet stretch in a non-hollow link bracelet?

You do know these are not the same bracelets of the 70's era type of design/manufacturing?

I understand your thinking , I however have been in touch with Ted Su straps and they do a 22mm Kevlar one that they are willing to modify to fit our SDDS . 135 usd will save your original Rolex bracelet . Buying a new original strap will be costly . What if you scratch the watch? Might as well buy a second SDDS .

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. Just wear the watch and enjoy it! Scratches WILL happen but they aren't to be feared!

I just got my 16710 back after 8 solid years of hard wear and the whole thing looks new. I never imagined it would look so good. The new bezel is off though the 12 a bit. So don't worry about the band it will be new again soon enough.

I could get a used Explorer II in great shape for that amount of money. I rember one post (back in mid summer) a deepsea owner cracked is bezel open at the top just to the right of the perl, and i am freaking out over couple small scratches.
