That's pretty sharp.

How big is it?

EDIT: nm, I looked it up, 39mm which is just about perfect size (for me anyway). I have a 41mm SMP and its on the verge of being too big. Good choice, please post a wrist shot when you get it.

Congratulations. It is gorgeous. Good choice. I have a 50 anniversary limit edition of Speedmaster. Being 42mm, it is a little too big on my wrist. 40 mm would be perfect.

loving it on a leather strap, and the day date "have a look Rolex" would look great on a Daytona.

Nice watch, but can you tell me what does "triple date" refer to?

congrates!

it is nice looking watch with loads of info on the dial. this was on my list until i tried it on. it was a too busy for me and the wife. so we got the Date version instead.

The dial on your Speedy Date-Date is different to the Speedy Date.

The Speedy bracelet is very comfy (more comfy than the oyster bracelet imo)

Fran - triple means day date and month.

The date is read from a hand which 'points' to the numbers around the outside of the dial.

Hey Richard, (nice watch by the way), what do you think of that date display? I often thought that maybe Rolex could pull that off as a method of adding the date function to the Daytona. Obviously a window is out of the question, but I really like the extra hand pointing to the date on the bezel. What do you think?

Just looked at this specific watch this afternoon!

I was looking for a beater watch and I really liked this model, but when I tried it on it looked smaller compared to my GMT IIc. Comparing it side by side, I guess it was the bezel and supercase that made my GMT look bigger.

Tried on the moon watch, and the broad arrow and the size was perfect (at least in my opinion). Didn't pull the trigger as both watches were almost the same cost as the sub LV. I guess I'll have to find another beater watch...

Good pickup though! Enjoy it!
