Watchmaker for a few hours!

Wanted to share this experience with you all!

A couple of weeks ago our AD invited us to an event to learn more about movements.

Wife and I got to take apart (and put back together) an ETA pocket watch movement. Can’t remember the caliber! The DJ felt at home.

A very fun experience. Lots of appreciation for the folks that do this for a living. So much patience and skill required for this! The Whisky helped keep a steady hand.

Enjoy.

Looks like a lot of fun !

The AWCI has a mobile watchmaking experience that would be nice to attend should it ever be within distance.

Looks very interesting. I’m pretty sure I could get a watch apart. Reassembling it however would be out of the question.

And for me the whiskey would definitely make it more difficult!
Thanks for sharing OP.
