New member and 14060M owner!

Hi everyone!

I've been lurking for a while but think it's time to take a step forward and be a bit more active!

I bought my first Rolex, a brand new 14060M F-series with country code 888 (HK - a lucky number meaning I'll get rich, if I understand correctly ) last week. It's my first watch over USD 300 - before this, I wore a Seiko quartz for several years, followed by a Seiko SKX031 (nice watch) and for a short while an Archimede Pilot (really, really nice watch and great bang for the bucks).

I really love it and will most probably keep it for the rest of my life. It's a 30th birthday present for myself. I like the classic look, the perfect size and the great feel. It's about five secs fast per day which I find perfectly acceptable. As the daily deviation seems to be almost non-existant, I'm sure it could be regulated to a perfect +2 if I thought it was an issue.

My next premium watch will be a dress watch... maybe a VC for my 40th birtday!
