which 5726 AC
so i've seriously been infected with the PP virus and would like to acquire a 5726 to complement my recently acquired 5711 blue. the only question remains is which version of the 5726 to get! would really appreciate some arguments for any of those options... the following is what i'm thinking...
1. grey dial on strap. it would be quite different from 5711 because it's on a strap and i don't own any other strap watches. like the dial color as well. strap may give it a different feel. 2. grey dial on bracelet. my favorite of the 3 independent of all other considerations, but afraid it may be too close to the 5711 as they're both dark dial with bracelet. 3. white dial on bracelet. very different from the 5711 and has a super clean feel to it. definitely would fulfill a more sporty role than the 5711. |

Without a doubt white on bracelet.. you obviously love the feel of the bracelet on 5711 and white dial with complications is all you need to go with Blue 5711!
White and enjoy! I wasnt a big fan of the feel of the Leather strap on steel head.. wasnt heavy enough for me.. if its strap its gotta be gold or plat! |

Grey on strap absolutely. It's a nice complement to the bracelet blue dial.

Out of the 3 choices you gave us I'd go gray on strap but I'd go for a 5235G for an AC (Biased as I am waiting for mine to arrive)

I voted grey on bracelet...but personally, I think the better compliment would be a black dialed 5205G

The Nautilus white dials do nothing for me, I saw the 5711 and 5726 in white and I really didn't like, and as a sport's watch I would definitely get with bracelet, you can always order after a custom strap from ABP since you can't fit a Patek one on the bracelet version, like this you can change from time to time.

which 5726 AC
X2: I voted white dial The only white dial Nautilus I like is this one, I think is because the contrast with the moonphase complication, stunning ! Although the best buy "more bang for your buck" here is the 5726 with Strap. The markup for the bracelet has no logic, well I take that back, Patek can break any logic

I have gone down a similar route as I have a 5712 and a 5726 1/a polar. I had the grey strap but sold it to buy another watch. I prefer a bracelet to a strap 99% of the time and I think the white dial gets under appreciated. The white is great in a different way than the blue but is no less a dial. The moonphase contrast is really striking and the legibility is beyond comparison. I think they would compliment each other well as mine do. Gives great distinctive options for wear. Good luck!

For this reference I will say white on bracelet. A firend of mine has one and it looks quite nice. I am generally not a fan of the 5726 but must say if I had to pick that would be the one. Also this is the one time I would pick white for a Nautilus.

I'd go grey on bracelet, which is also your favourite. I'd chose the watch I liked the best, with how it fit in the collection a secondary consideration.

I am going to pickup my white dial version, it is very nice and easy to read especially in the dark at night. we will have to plan a bit long term, when we get a bit older, the white dial will provide better reading relatively to the grey dial. moreover, the moonphase contrast with the white provide beautiful enjoyment.

I'm partial to leather, so I voted option 1. In a perfect world, they'd have a white dial on leather, which is what I've been hoping for at a future release

I would choose grey on strap for the most difference, but I probably wouldn't get two Nautiluses, I'd look more at an Aquanaut or the 5205.

If you have been infected with the PP virus, consider a 5205. If instead you have been infected with the Nautilus virus, among those listed I would choose the grey dial bracelet. I know it's very similar to the 7-Eleven, but I go by the watch not the collection. The white dial or leather strap would offer some diversity in the collection, but when I spend the day staring at the watch I put on that day, I want it to be the one I like most, not the most different. |

I would pick the white dial. It pops more with a fresh modern look and feel.

I prefer the white dial over the grey for the 5726 but since you have the 5711 already I would try the grey dial with strap. I was in a similar situation a few months ago and picked the 5726a.

I am surprised that the white and grey dial got the same amount of votes, I saw 2 white dial Nautilus, 5711 and 5726, and as much as I think some white dial watches look fantastic, either Pateks or Rolex, for example the 116515 Daytona that I have, The white dial on these 2 did nothing to me, I prefer way more other colours of dials for Nautilus models...

I have seen all three, and my preference is clearly the white dial. It is extremely legible, and the moonphase really stands out.
What you like is what counts, and you really can't go wrong. Good luck! |

Of course you need to buy the one which you like the most, taste is different to each person and that's clearly a good thing, just for me the white dials are not on the same level as the others, but for my Daytona 116515 as much as I love the chocolate dial, I realized that it's practically impossible to read if there is not enough light, which is why I got the ivory dial
