Dial Comparisons

Is it just me, or does the dial of the Milgauss look larger in diameter than the SS Daytona? I know both watches are 40mm, but I've never quite understood how that measurement was based. Does 40mm represent the size of the dial, or size of the case? Either way, the Milgauss dial looks bigger to me than the SS Daytonas. Is this some optical illusion?

Good question - I have been wondering about that too since I have both and have compared them side by side. The Milgauss also looks larger compared to the Submariner ..

I never knew you were Michael Jackson. What have you been grabbing with that glove?

The width of both cases is measured 40mm. Mil's dial is larger.

The Milly's bezel isn't as wide as the Daytona. You get more bezel and less dial on the Daytona.

I only use those gloves for two things. The putting on and taking off of my beloved, incredible Rolex fine timepieces.
