Swirl/scratch marks on new sub dial

So I recently just got a new submariner and have enjoyed it almost daily but I saw something concerning today. Only in specific angles under LED or strong sun light there are faint swirl marks on the dial. I read some forums that this is from the factory polishing job of the dial. Should I send it back to RSC or is it just the way it is?

Under certain harsh lighting, if you angle it just right, and hold your tongue just so.....

Share a pic if you can. Sounds like it’s the AR coating which is normal.

More than you think.

It started a lost conversation and bumped the OP's post from the second page up to the top of the Queue. Brought you into it too.

I think I know what you mean. Are these multiple circles under the crystal?
I can’t explain the phenomenon but I had the same once. It must be related to the AR coating on the inside. I had submariners for 10+ years, but it never occurred. Only recently with my 124060 sub. I will try to find a picture.

Something like this, but more extreme

Yes it happened to my Explorer. See thread. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=841612

Unsure if it’s what the OP is referring to hence why it would help if they shared a pic.

Those swirls are very visible in direct sunlight, if you have a cleaning cloth then whipe it and look at it again. They are much less visible then. I have those too on my GMT and they vanish after whiping the crystal.

I picked up a Pepsi on jubilee from my AD a month ago and have noticed the same. It bothered me for a day, and I got over it. When I look at my watch in direct sunlight I notice them but it is what it is
