Looking for Pepsi bezel insert for my GMT II

I got Rolex GMT Master II Steel 116710LN, as you see in the picture. Anyone changed the bezel? I am looking for Pepsi. Let me know your experience and refer anyone who is selling.

thanks.

Looking for Pepsi bezel insert for my GMT II

Think would be very hard to source; have seen the black for sell by itself but never the Pepsi or the BLNR / batman; hope you can find one!

Personally I would not change it. Leave it as is or if you gonna do it change the bezel, dial, and GMT hand.

You’re better off trading up for a BLRO if that’s what you want. The ceramic GMTs are not like the aluminum bezels that are easily obtained and changed.

Quite hard to change without the right tools and are prone to breaking without the right tools. The green GMT hand will look funny with a Pepsi bezel if you can actually obtain one somewhere.

Try finding someone with the BLRO and ask him to do you a favour by removing his bezel than claiming the RSC he lost is somewhere. That way the RSC will issue him a new one that you can then take and install on your watch.

Have seen it done but, as others have mentioned, that involved the GMT hand and dial being changed otherwise it’s colour mismatch. You’ll end up spending more than trading it in towards a genuine model.

If you’re going to do it - this.

As someone mentioned, get the real deal. Trade “up” to the Pepsi.

I have only seen it done once here on this forum. Rolliworks did it and the customer sourced all the parts. He made mention by the time it was over he could have bought the real deal for less money. The problems you face is one finding that bezel. There are places that remove bezels and put there own jewel encrusted bezel in its place but when they do that its on the 116710LN model because its cheaper than the Pepsi as a whole package. Thats why you can find in abundance the black bezel for sale. The other big issue is doing the bezel swap. It isnt like the 5 digit watches and you need very specific tools and if done wrong its easy to break the fragile ceramic is not kept very flat during the install. So you need the correct press which means a pro needs to do it. Many here have tried and only a very very few were successful.

I thought the Bezels weren’t compatible ... I could be wrong.

0% change you find a bezel. If you do the seller will most likely ask $2000. It’s just not worth it and/or possible

thanks everyone, really appreciate the feedback. Seems like only option to trade up if I want Pepsi, otherwise just be happy with black :-)
