15400 white dial color

So after watching a YouTube video and reading some things on the forum, I figured I would ask the experts about this. It appears that the dial color on the 15400st changed from a yellow/silver to a deep silver from the J to K serial dates. (2018 to 2019) Is this confirmed to be true? The reason I’m asking is I just bought a J serial, but like the supposed look of the K. Just not sure if this is on all dials or only some. Would love to learn more. Thanks

Hi, I have a white dial 15400 and came across this matter as well. There are different batches and some dials (later ones) can be flatter and a less reflective white, rather than the "standard" white and silver. I suggest checking this thread and IG post:

Personally for me, after much back and forth, I settled on the fact that the "standard" white and silver is the best as it highlights the tapisserie pattern of the dial best and it gives a great contrast between the shades when the sunburst is visible.
