My wife is mad at me, JJ. She doesn't want me to have more hobbies like having many watches. She is saying that flying is enough to eat our money:)))))) ROFL

The 16610 is the most popular, but not the best. Tha better one is the 16610 LV in the old Sub line up.

The maxi dial is the long waited improvement. To celebrate fifty years of Submariner they've created something special. This is the Sub LV.

and it would have been great if they ended it with a one year run, that would have made it special, but the run went on for years. Still a great , great watch.

Hello everyone. I am a new Rolex Sub 16610LV owner and have to say that the 16610 is indeed a stunning watch, but . . . for me personally, the MAXI DIAL and minute hand made it snap!!! It became more like a tool watch again due to the greater readability/visability.

However, I changed out the bezel insert from green to black and I absolutely love it. One of these days I'll post pics and tell my watch buying story.

Cheers!

I'll take the black over the green. The Green sub just doesn't do it for me.

I like that it's got some scratches on it. Not a fan of drawer queen Rolex sport watches. Wear them well and often I says!
