Question a bout date wheel.
I have a question on the date wheel and hope someone could help. As shown in the photos, the number 13 is aligning perfectly in the middle whereas the number 25 is not; the upper gap of number 25 is bigger than the bottom gap.
Is this normal or something is wrong with the date wheel? Or maybe I知 just too picky. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Wouldn't it have to do with what time of day it is. I always thought the wheel moved very slowly. So at 9pm the 25 would be a little lower than the 13 at 7pm. Just my guess and observations though.

Mine gets a bit weird at times, but a tap on the crystal centers the number.

OP: Not sure if it is normal or not. On my SubC, all the dates numbers seem centered. |

There is more mass in the number 25 than in the number 18 for an aperture
that accommodates the same size wheel - hence the out of alignment plus the fact that you are.....a perfectionist... |

What does the mass/size of the number have to do with anything? If the number is printed in the proper portion of the date wheel, it should be centered in the date window/cyclops. What am I missing?

After careful scrutiny, mine has ever so slightly more space at the top, It's not as obvious as yours. Don't think I would worry unless I saw this happening more frequently. Have you played with resetting the date to see if it changes differently?

Exactly, that's what I thought too. The number 13 is perfectly centered but the number 25 is not really not, I think the number 25 did not printed at the exact position.

It's only happened from number 24 through 29, other numbers are perfect in the center. I did pay attention and it happened every month.

It takes a discerning eye to notice that; I salute you for that, it's really amazing you picked it up. I'd give RSC a call and I am sure they will be more than happy to help you out.
