Incoming Tudor Black Bay 58

I've been looking for a BB58 for a while. Struck out at many ADs and have been stalking gray market and used sales. I finally found a used one in new condition at a fair price, and it just got here yesterday.

I worried that the 39 mm case might wear a little small, but then I remembered that Tudor / Rolex sports watches have huge lugs, and they make it wear a bit larger. It's perfect!

This one came on the Tudor leather with deployant clasp, but I like to wear bracelets in the warm months. I'm not a fan of the rivets on the OEM 58 bracelet, so I put it on a Strapcode oyster that is made specifically for this watch.

This one was love at first sight!

Wow, that's a beautiful set, David! The BB58 Blue looks so different than the Black, that I don't see it as redundant at all (I'm sure you'd agree ) It's a striking watch, and one I may have to get in the future.

Love the gilt model. Recently saw gilt and blue same time in-person. I understand why people love the blue though it didn't do much for me. Enjoy!

What is your opinion of the Strapcode Oyster? I’m on the list for a BB58 blue with the fabric strap as my AD said it would likely be available sooner than a bracelet version. Considered the Strapcode because I’m not a big fan of the rivet bracelet anyway.

Congrats! I agree with the Strapecode choice. I have a couple, they make good bracelets. I had a BB41 with the faux rivet bracelet, had to move for an earlier eta for a few reasons, bracelet being one. Enjoy that Beauty!!...

The strap code bracelet looks good. Although rivets don’t bother me. Looks like a fine option if you get the leather or NATO version.
