Help identifying this vintage Omega Seamaster

It is a family watch that has completely broken now; the hands are not moving and has not for 15 years. According to the family member who owned it, once he saw the crystal fog up from the inside, which leads me to believe there was water damage. The bracelet is not original I believe.

I'd appreciate any information regarding this price, such as possible calibre, model number, and history. Thanks all.

You should take it to a local watchmaker or authorized Omega service center and have them open the case. I think only then will you be able to determine movement calibre and case reference number. It's a nice piece and given its sentimental / family value, I would think you'd want to spend the money to restore it to at least working condition, if not like new.

There's a case number on the inside of the case back. You won't hurt anything to open it up and have a look. There is an Omega database that may have movement, bracket, years manufactured and so on you can access with case number. But I agree taking to a watchmaker is a good idea.
