Help to determine authenticity of GMT Master II

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum, so greetings all!

I am looking to buy this watch on Chrono24. The watch is being sold by a Japanese professional dealer. They have very good reviews, and the shop is actually part of a large JP company focused on pre-owned luxury items.
Additionally, I've contacted a Chrono24 client advisor who've told me they've had very good experience with this seller and would recommend it.

In any case, would anyone be able to give me their view on the authenticity? I want to be 100% sure.

Here are some photos of the watch: share.icloud.com/photos/01a6-8pm0AxPu0AVOtBj8T_WA

Many thanks
Miguel

They were too large to attach on the post

You have 15 posts where you welcomed 13 new members to a forum you have just joined?

No real problem but I would prefer to wait.

You could have posted pix with no waiting if you resized them?

Those pix would have been good enough?

Miguel, welcome, just resize and post under 1250 pixels, it'll be enough.

Links nowadays are a tough thing to click on.

Thank you Filipćo.
Here are some of the photos with lower quality. I've added the zip also, with higher resolution.

The white glove looks real and appears to be genuine.

As far as the watch goes, it could be fake or could be genuine. There is no way to know for sure based on the poor quality photos.

Was there a pre-ceramic insert GMT-Master II reference with plastic crystal??

mbarbosa, which model GMT II does the seller claim this watch is?

It would be helpful to provide photos from between the lugs, or at least the apparent reference and serial number info. At first glance, it's not appearing to be a vintage watch, at least by my definition of "vintage".

I had to drastically reduce the pics file size to make them fit the 250kb..
Does it help with safety concearns if I show this IMGUR link? https://imgur.com/a/s8edogj

Regarding the C24 link, I eventually got it, so the link was disabled. Of course I can still return it if I'm not happy.

If you have it in hand and have reason to be skeptical about authenticity, I suggest you take it to a local expert who can inspect it in-person, including opening the case, etc. Unless the watch is a really bad fake, I doubt there is much we could say based on a few photos from the seller. Also, I still don't have a sense that this is a vintage watch, so I don't know why you are posting in this forum.

Question, why do people leave the green case back sticker on? It looks so gross after wear. Just a DNA catcher?
