Anyone ever buy a watch from therealreal.com?

Just curious if anyone here has ever used them for a Rolex (or any other luxury watch)...I saw an add for the website, and when I went to it, I noticed that you have to sign-up to be able to access the goods being sold on the site, which I have yet to do. Was just curious if it was worth even bothering with. . .

they are legit and have actual stores where you can buy stuff and where they do authentication. i think it just comes down to the price and whether or not you can get a better deal elsewhere since they take a giant % of sales for their services

Yeah, we have one right by my home here in Chicago, it's a nice enough store but the watch selection is junk.

I have been to the one in LA. They had a fairly interesting selection of watches but overpriced. This was when I was looking for an Omega 2534.50 specifically. I wanted to try one on to see how it fit and they had one. Looked very nice on the outside but was not working and needed a service. It was still selling for a premium over fully functional examples I found on EBAY. In the end, I did indeed purchase a nice example from EBAY running -4 seconds per day for much less. EBAY will authenticate too.

My wife bought a pair of sunglasses from them with no hitch. I looked into using them to sell and they take a pretty big commission.
